Fork Perfection: How to Embrace the Mess and Finally Make Progress
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how success really works.
Here’s the truth most people won’t tell you:
It’s not clean.
It’s not polished.
It’s definitely not perfect.
In fact, it’s usually messy as a fork.
Now don’t get me wrong—I’m an optimist. I choose happiness. I fight for a positive outlook even when life sucker-punches me. But let’s be clear: choosing positivity doesn’t mean pretending everything is easy.
Because it’s not.
Success is hard.
It’s uncomfortable.
It’s full of failure, missteps, and moments when quitting feels easier than continuing.
But if you ask me what holds most people back from actually succeeding?
👉 They’re waiting for everything to be perfect before they even start.
Let me keep it real…
When I launched my podcast?
I had no clue what I was doing.
When I started Landscape Lighting Secrets?
Zero idea how to build a coaching business.
If I had waited until I “figured it all out,” none of that would exist.
I wouldn’t have helped hundreds (maybe thousands) of business owners double or triple their profits.
And my fitness journey? I’m training for the Spartan Trifecta this year.
Some weeks I’m a machine. Other weeks? I skip workouts, get sick, fall off track.
And yet—I’m in the best shape of my life.
How?
Because I stopped aiming for perfection.
And I started focusing on progress.
So here’s what I want you to do:
FORK OFF.
Yup. You read that right.
It’s my simple, powerful 4-part system to move through the mess and build real momentum.
Don’t hide from it. Feel it. Then take action anyway.
Stop chasing perfect. It doesn’t exist. Progress is what matters.
Repetition builds discipline. Discipline builds results.
Even when you mess up. Even when it’s ugly. Just. Don’t. Quit.
Right now, I want you to pick one thing you’ve been avoiding.
Something you’ve been putting off until “the time is right.”
Something that’s been quietly eating away at your potential.
Now—apply the FORK framework to it.
And if you’re feeling bold?
Email me and tell me what it is: 📩 [email protected]
I will read it. I will respond.
Because I don’t want you—or the people counting on you—to miss out on what could be… just because you were waiting for the perfect moment.
Fork that. Let’s go.
Keep moving forward,
